Location Scout In Ocala Florida
As a photographer, I find it really difficult to turn my brian off. It probably has to do with the fact that photography is a visual art form and I REALYY REALLY LOVE doing it! I’m always on the hunt for beautiful light. Or noticing subtle micro-expressions from my kids. And I’m always wishing that I had my camera handy.
Well, today it caught up with me that Ocala has so much more to offer than what I know and have explored. Today, I went to the old train station on North Magnolia. I know that they’ve been working on updating the space surrounding it. I grabbed my boys and my camera and we did a little exploring looking for light and great backdrops. I was pretty taken with what we found.
The sculptures we found were so fun! How about that colorful spider web? So pretty…especially in the setting sun. The landscape was a little barren, but I know that once the foliage matures, it will frame the walking paths beautifully!
Upon leaving, we were treated to a little humor by a mason who worked on piecing together the limerock wall. How about that goofy face? Isn’t that hysterical? I noticed it as I was getting into my car and had to pop out for a photo. We all got a good chuckle out of that! I hope that you’ve enjoyed your brief tour!
