Kirsten – Ocala High School Senior
I LOVED this session with Ocala High School Senior, Kirsten! She and her mom were great sports as we traveled to a few locations where anything was game. And we did it all with a great sense of humor. What good is it when you’re not having fun, right?
We started off our session at the Appleton Museum of Art. I love the Appleton! It’s really an amazing spot in Ocala. So many opportunities to take advantage of. And I love that the architecture is so different from anything else in our town…makes for a great photo location. In fact, I shot some prom pictures there not so long ago.
For Kirsten’s shoot, we were able to shoot in their courtyard which was beautifully lit…a photographer’s dream! We spent the bulk of our time there and finished up with a few frames around the perimeter…including the amazing Stickwork by Patrick Dougherty.
We then found a field of flowers…kidding! I might have exaggerated a little. It was actually a small strip of flowers off of the side of the road. You would never know through the magic of photography!
We finished up in the Ocala National Forest. We were on our way to losing light, so we brought out the lights to help a girl out. All in all, a great great day! Like I said, we laughed a whole lot! Here are some of the images that tell the story:
Kirsten is going to on to do great things! I can’t wait to see what she’s going to be when she grows up!
