365 day Project | Day 36 | 02.01.2013

It seems as if I’ve posted a similar image  yesterday. You know, my son’s hand in focus as he’s wearing green? I did not make that my intention. In fact this was completely impromptu.

You see, Dad made scrumptious mini molten lava cakes for dessert the night before. (I know, I’m pretty lucky!) Alex proceeds to ask me for cake this morning after breakfast. I tell him “no” and that we might have a little taste later in the day. Well, I get to bill paying on the computer as he catches up on his PBS Kids. He’s in and out of the office telling me what he’s up to…coloring, making recipes, showing me tractors in a catalog, etc… On one of his visits I catch a whiff of chocolate. Could it be? Uh-huh. Little bugger went into the fridge, grabbed the whole container of leftover mini-cakes and sampled each one. Oy!

Perhaps capturing the sampled cakes would have made for a better picture. But I preferred the nibbled top in the hand of the guilty.

Nothing special to note technically. Just a day-in-the-life at my house.

By the way, we had a talk and it will never happen again. Right.  *wink*
