I’m not sure what this is all about, but I just love the expression on his face. It may not be anything to you all, but it is pure Nicholas to me.
As a photographer, these are the moments that I want to capture. These quick unexpected moments when you get the real deal. The kind of things you try to hold onto or write about in memory books. Sure, I like semi-posed images, but I really love what happens in between.
By the way, he was all soaped up while washing his wagon in preparation for his “100 Days Parade.” You can’t take a dirty wagon to school now, can you? Any excuse to play in the water.
