I swear I have 2 children and that I love them equally. It’s just that one of them is in school most of the day while the other can serve as my muse. Dad was home as well and I wanted to capture this sweet sweet moment. Alex wanted to “read” to Dad. Of course, he was “reading” about tractors. Is there anything else to read about?

This was a bit hard to capture as it was in a dark room, so I cranked up the ISO and that make it a bit noisy. Also, a bedside lamp is lit up and that makes white balance pretty difficult hence his yellow/ orange back. The aperture was wide open creating a shallow depth of field  (and also to increase the shutter speed so what was in focus was crisp.) I didn’t want to disturb them (too much), so I worked in the room as is and figured that this was more about capturing this moment. I should have turned the lamp off, but…
