Doesn’t this guy (because he is CLEARLY a guy) look like he has something he wants to say? Or perhaps he’s just posing for my picture?
We were on a random trip through Weeks auction. Remember Weeks? I talked about it here and here. Well, I didn’t plan on taking any photos. I was there to have a look at tractors with all of my boys. That’s all. On our last ride through a section we don’t normally ride through, this tractor was screaming for a photo. It’s probably the most animated one I’ve come across. Like I asked before, doesn’t he look like he has something to say?
This was the first frame I captured. I usually like to capture subjects in their entirety without cutting off limbs, hands, feet…tires. But that didn’t seem to work in this situation. Perhaps if I had my wide angle with me, I could have? To capture the whole thing with my 50mm, it put me at quite a distance and the expressive face was lost. Any closer than this and it just wasn’t as funny.
I didn’t do much in post. I straightened the photo just a tad and bumped up the saturation as the orange was originally very very faded. I thought that the brighter orange better displayed this tractor’s silly expression. Can you believe that I’m talking about a tractor having an expression? But it does and that makes me laugh.
Captions, anyone? I was thinking of Scooby Doo’s, “Row?” funny.
