Day 31, ya’ll! One month down and ONLY 11 more to go, right?

Thank you to everyone who is following me on this adventure. I hope that you’re enjoying it as much as I am!

As you can see from today’s image, I am loving the backlight! I love a setting sun! The halo of light framing the body creates a nice separation from the background (trees). The sun is positioned in the upper left corner out of the frame. See that ray shining down on the diagonal? Follow it up and out of the frame and that’s where the sun is.

This photo is pretty much SOOC…industry speak or internet acronym for Straight Out Of the Camera. I barely touched this photo in post processing. I brought up the contrast to bring the vibrant orange of his shirt and the blue in his jeans out….just a teeny tiny amount though.

Oh, and for the record, we’re not Gator fans. Sorry to disappoint. Nicholas LOVES orange and well, this Gators shirt is orange. In fact, we’re not fans of any one team…except the Steelers! “Here we go Steelers, here we go!” (I’m really speaking for myself on this one though. The kids and Dad don’t care one way or the other.)
