Does anyone know what plant these blooms are from?
Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?
These are from my beloved tea olive, Osmanthus fragrans. Tea olives are a slow growing These teeny tiny blossoms have the most delicious fragrance. They say to plant them near entrances to your home. Well, we have them 4 different locations and I swear I could stand to put in a dozen more. No, we don’t have 28 entrances to our home!! I just can’t get enough of their scent!
If you live in zones 8-10, you need to run out a get a few! You will NOT be disappointed.
I don’t think that there’s anything noteworthy about this photo. It’s just a reminder of one of my favorite things.
